Week 15: The Most Important Place in my Life…
When people talk about an important place, they think about a physical place. In my case, my most important place is my mind. Let me tell you why.
It’s where my memories reside. My grandpas, my beloved dad, my games with my brothers, or the smile of my kids… All those happy moments that once were and now I revisit for joy and to recharge my heart.
It’s where all my fears and beliefs are formed. It’s hard work to keep my house clean and neat! It has required a constant mental diet. Sometimes, pessimism, sadness, and fear disguised as gentle friends to enter into my mind.
It’s where I create the life I want to live, and I go to remind myself that a better version of me is possible with enough discipline, clear vision and faith in my life.
It is not where you live, or what happens in your life. It is what you decide to do with your life. We are in many ways the creators and architects of our circumstances in life. This is why it is so important to me this very special place that I call “My Mind”.
If you have been reading my blog during the past several weeks, you would know that I have been shaping and reshaping my DMP.
I’m absolutely convinced that I am not on this earth by chance. That I am here for a purpose and that purpose is to become the person I’m destined to become, and fulfill my Pivotal Needs of Liberty and Legacy.
In short, to be the best I can be, I have created within me the best place in my life.
The good thing is that I have decided to greet this day, and every day with love in my heart. That I have decided that today, and every day I begin a new life. And that I will persist until I succeed because after all, I am nature’s greatest miracle…
PS. Please, leave a comment and tell me: What is the most important place in your life?
